An Israeli patrol boat struck a boat carrying doctors and supplies to Gaza early today in the Mediterranean Sea, witnesses and Israeli officials said. CNN correspondent Karl Penhaul was aboard the 60-foot Dignity when the boats collided. It was “very severely rammed” by the Israeli boat, Penhaul said. Competing demonstrations — increasingly noisy but both so far nonviolent — over the Israeli government’s military assault on the Gaza Strip are under way in the mid-Wilshire area this evening.
A pro-Palestinian contingent is chanting and waving hand-lettered signs at Wilshire Boulevard and La Jolla Avenue, near the Israeli consulate. Across the street, a smaller group is waving Israeli flags and signs reading “Israel is doing the world’s work.”
Police are working to keep demonstrators out of the streets and to keep the rival groups from directly confronting each other. Earlier in the day and a few miles west, near the Federal Building on Wilshire, a group calling itself L.A. Jews for Peace demonstrated against the Israeli strikes in Gaza.

Having been unable to attend the Nov. 14 public memorial to the woman who raised him, the president-elect attended a private service for Dunham at the First Unitarian Church in the neighborhood of Nuuanu, reports the Associated Press.
His half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, and her husband, Konrad Ng, were also in attendance at the service.
Afterwards, the family drove to cliffs east of Honolulu, where Obama, Soetoro-Ng and about 20 relatives climbed over a stonewall to the rocky ledges of Lanai Lookout to scatter Dunham’s ashes.
Earlier this year, AP reports, Obama left flowers at the same place, in memory of his mother.
Dunham, known affectionately by family and friends as “Toot,” died on Nov. 2 at the age.

I have so many feelings on this topic, I want to talk about what happened between Bishop Weeks and Juanita Bynum so much. I found it fascinating that ABC news nor Entertainment Tonight covered this yesterday. (This couple is almost like a Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker in terms of notoriety — at least in the black community.)

We really need to be careful about what we say towards/about these children of God. They are his children just like we are. We don’t have a right to judge anyone. Instead of focusing in on them & this issue, we should be lifting them up and praying for them. That is how you are suppose to deal with it. How many times were we suppose to do right/or how many times have we disobeyed God. Inspite of us, our disobedience,etc, he has remained faithful,forgiving, merciful and gracious. If god judged us like people, my God we would have no existance. Thank God that he is not like man. God has not called us to judge and most certainly has not asked our opinions. Hey we would be offended, etc, if we weren’t listening and endulging into this situation. We are one step/sin away from falling ourselves. This why we have to pray, stay before God & crucify the flesh on daily basis. God is love and our main focus should be mirroring him. We are suppose to be striving to be like christ. He says in his word, how can you say you love me, whom you have never seen but you hate your brother you see everyday. Hate can be defined in many ways.We can hate someone one with words. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Let us speak life over our brother and sister & let God handle it. There is a famous saying that I love. It goes, when it is in your home, it is a matter of prayer. When it is in someone else home, it is a matter of gossip! My word is this so true, especially among christians/church. Only God knows exactly what happened we weren’t there, so we can’t say a word. Even if were there & somebody was at fault…..Galations 5:22-26 says: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,faith, meekeness, temperance; against there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Finally, Galations 6:1-7

I want to say that I feel really terrible about this whole situation with the Week’s family. I am a leader in my church and people have really high expectations of us, we are to be “above reproach.” But I struggle with anger, I struggle with arrogance, and at times that old man wants to rise up and take over. I seek constantly to live a holy life, but I also know that I am not exempt from attacks from Satan.
I was very angry initially after hearing what happened, but it was because I feared that the Body of Christ would once again have a negative spotlight put on us by the world. People would use this as an excuse to not give their souls over to Jesus. But I cried out to God that day, I mean I really cried, like a baby and God comforted my tears. My husband didn’t know how to react so he got frustrated, but when he saw my tears he joined in and weeped with me on behalf of our brothers and sisters.
Can we begin as the Body to live “above reproach” but also show to the world that we gave our lives to God because we weren’t perfect? I certaintly pray so, because either way, whether good or bad, Christ said, “if the world hates you, remember they hated me first,” and “if you love the world, or the world loves you for that matter, the love of the Father is not in you.” So let’s not beat up our members, only God knows what is in both of their hearts. Instead let’s pray that our bruised and broken Body will be restored fully unto God.
WE JUST NEED TO BE PRAYING FOR BOTH OF THEM…PERIOD!
Brethlen this is not time to condem/to judge but to unit and refuse what the enemy is trying to do in the body of Christ. What would be the best target than our leaders.let us not forget to ask God what we need to do in this situation and pray for Weeks’ family that God’s will will be done in this sitaution. If a minister of the gospel is standing behind the pulpit,ministering to a group of people and is a false prophet God is not pleased with it! It has nothing to do with judging or talking bad about someone, it is THE FACTS that count. If both of these ministers are being disciplined by God by being publicly humiliated and disgraced, WHICH IS A GREAT POSSIBILITY then GOD IS ALREADY JUDGING THEM NOT THE PUBLIC!! God is letting us see what happens to anyone who represents Him DECEITFULLY.
God disciplines those he loves… if this is the case with Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Bynum (God’s discipline) please donot discount the fact that maybe God is Judging them both. If you read the word on a regular basis you should know that God is not a passive God turning the other cheek at unrepentant sinners!!! If God has never disciplined you for sins that you are still committing then according to the word of God, “Examine yourselves to see if you are saved”
If God does not judge sin in his people on earth, We will all be going to hell, that is why christians are judged on earth not on judgment day! When Jesus comes back,we will be (Christians), judged by our works.So let us please stop acting like God doesnt judge us when we sin, especially those who know better.

I am amazed by all that has taken place this past week. I ask myself, “Why the amazement?” I think I am guilty of putting these two in some type of category that does not exist. Christians as well as leaders in the church go through just like everyone else in the world. I am a minister and my husband is a minister as well. We are not as well known as the Weeks by any stretch of the word. But in our area we are known. People think we have a perfect marriage, but we don’t. We struggle with all kinds of issues. We have decided that as things happen we will just deal with them. Sometimes you get so busy trying to work in your ministry that you forget the most important things. Sometimes you get so busy trying to keep up with the image that you have created for yourself that you forget the important things. We have never had a violent moment but, we have had things happen in our marriage that if people knew about it, they wouldn’t listen to a word we had to say from the pulpit. You never know what goes on behind closed doors. This whole situation with the Weeks have showed me that you have to deal with your issues as they arrise with in your marriage or they will grow and you will be forced to deal with them later.
i do not agree with the divorce part of this problem i believe juanita needs to stop and think there is no problem that our god cannot solve. I have listen to the message she had preach after the marriage proverb 31 woman maybe you need to listen to that message again i think you to try and resolve things with your husband if you go through with the divorce this is where the enemy is going to get the victory. prophetess bynum, i’m very sad about what has happened between you and bishop weeks, this is no laughing matter, my problem with this is, not only should he had not touch you, but you also speaks about faith in God and talks about it all the time, but when reality shows up, and God sends a test you, you decides to go and join up with someone that says they believe theirs a God and want to join in with domestic abuse, we as christian has a problem with this, go back to God and ask him to send you directions, obviously, you and bishop need help, stop listening to what people are saying, fast and stay before God so he can lead you, stop talking so much, so you want have so much to take back, study to be quiet and listen to the voice of the lord, we will continue to keep you and bishop in prayer, it’s praying time, perilous times, dangerous times, it’s time for a change, be blessed—-

First I must thank God for the great ministry of Juanita Bynum, which my wife and I enjoy watching on television here in the U.K. While I do not know what annoyed weeks so much that he reacted this way, I emphatically do not advocate domestic violence. Eve was the first one to eat the forbidden fruit, but God was silent until man eat it. Weeks and Juanita, there is always a time when mankind has to face God the maker. God called the first man “where are you”? This call reveals God’s love and mercy. God searched for the fallen man (I am not saying you have fallen). Man was lost, in sin and needed God’s help. Man proved his lack of repentance by shifting the blame on the woman, while she also shifted the blame on the snack. Alas blame shifting is a common tendency in marriage today. We must individually see ourselves in God’s mirror – His word, and ask to be forgiven and reconciled to God. Remember Paul’s message to the Corinthians that “God has given us the ministry of reconciliation”. The Catholic Church for over one thousand years before the existence of a Protestant, by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday (The Christian Sabbath, p. 29. Printed by The Catholic Mirror, the official organ of Cardinal Gibbons, Baltimore, Md., 1893).
The Pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, change, or interpret even divine laws (Farraris’s Ecclesiastical Dictionary. Article, “The Pope”).
Of course the change [from Sabbath to Sunday] was her act . . . and the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters (Signed by H. F. Thomas, Chancellor for Cardinal Gibbons, in a letter dated, Nov. 11, 1895).
Thus, the Catholic Church claims the pope has power to change God’s law, just as Daniel 7:25 says. This church claims to have changed the Sabbath into Sunday, which is a changing of “times,” just as Daniel 7:25 says will occur. And papal Rome also calls this change a “mark” of her authority, which makes this a perfect fit with Revelation 13!
1. Jesus Christ rose on Sunday, “the first day of the week” (Mark 16:9).
2. The New Testament refers to “the first day of the week” eight times (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:1, 9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1, 19; 1 Corinthians 16:1; Acts 20:7).
3. Five of these references are about the Resurrection (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:1, 9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1).
4. One Sunday text refers to a fearful gathering of the disciples on that day before they knew Jesus was alive (John 20:19).
5. One Sunday text refers to a special collection of money on that day in the city of Corinth for a group of poor believers in Jerusalem (1 Corinthians 16:1-3; Romans 15:25, 26).
6. And one Sunday text refers to a solitary instance in Troas where believers gathered late one Saturday night as a farewell to Paul (Acts 20:6-13).
7. None of these references even remotely suggest that Sunday is now holy or that it has been set aside in honor of the Resurrection.
8. Jesus Christ never said a word about Sunday in any of His teachings.
9. Jesus Christ gave His church authority to teach only what He taught (Matthew 28:19), which forbids any emphasis on Sunday keeping.
10. The New Testament is as silent as a cemetery about any change from Sabbath to Sunday.
By way of contrast, here are ten key Sabbath facts found in your own Bible:
1. Jesus Christ kept the Sabbath (Luke 4:16).
2. Jesus taught much about the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-14).
3. Jesus said He is “Lord of the Sabbath,” thus revealing that it is His own special day in honor of the fact that He is the Creator of all life (Mark 2:28; Matthew 12:8).
4. Jesus often healed people on the Sabbath, revealing His love and power (Matthew 12:9-13).
5. Jesus freed the Sabbath from the burdensome traditions of the Pharisees (Luke 13:10-17).
6. The Sabbath was kept by Christ’s disciples after the Cross (Luke 23:46, 54-56).
7. The Sabbath was kept in the book of Acts by both Jews and Gentiles (Acts 13:42-44; 16:13; 17:1-4; 18:4).
8. The entire book of Revelation was given on the Lord’s,” day which is the Sabbath day (Revelation 1:10; Exodus 20:10; Isaiah 58:13; Matthew 12:8).
9. The Sabbath is not just for Jews, but is also for Gentiles (Isaiah 56:1-8).
10. The Sabbath will be kept in the new earth by all the saved (Isaiah 66:22, 23).
The Ancient of Days is shaking up all of the false tares. Thses trees will be cut the ground and thrown into the pit of damnation. It is a very sad day when so many people fall for fales hope in false people in sheeps clothing. We need to seek the truth at all cost and do what is right in our childrens eyes so that GOD will show us mercy. May we all search our hearts and not be fooled by the riches of this vain world of today.
